The Fat Tuesday Flint River Mardi Gras Parade

Join us for a spectacular and fun Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Parade along the Flint River ending on the Square in Historical Downtown Bainbridge on Fat Tuesday 3/04/2025. Bring the family and line up along the River Walk and Water Street leading into Downtown to watch the parade. If you really want to get in on the fun, register a golf cart or side by side recreational vehicle ONLY! There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd cash prizes given to the best decorated entries! All entries MUST be decorated and throws are required! This is an evening parade so part of the decorations must include lights. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT so please decorate and choose music accordingly! Once the parade ends in Downtown stay for the party!

Our restaurants and businesses are getting in on the fun offering Mardi Gras themed food, drinks and sales!

We will have the Funky Tators, an 11 piece band, bounce house, and obstacle course on the Square.

Parade Details/Rules

*Line up is at 4:30, judging of the golf carts is at 5:30, parade starts rolling 6:30

–Golf Carts and Side by Sides ONLY!

–Throws are highly encouraged!

–ALL entries MUST be decorated and decorative lights are required.

–All drivers MUST be 18 or older and be a licensed driver and abide by all laws for recreational vehicles.

–No glass, coolers or weapons allowed.

–Any signage displayed MUST be family friendly and will be approved at parade line up.

–Winners will be announced and awards given after the parade by the band in Willis Park.

— Line up of golf carts/side by sides will be on Hatcher Rd starting at 4:30, judging of golf carts 5:30, parade will start at 6:30. Parking and more line up details will be emailed closer to the event once we receive all entries.
